Favorite Color

No Scripture today, I’m just thinking.

We are supposed to have a relationship with Jesus, right?

So, what is Jesus’ favorite color?  If you have a best friend, you know stuff like that.

Could it be red?  He shed His blood for us.  Without shedding blood there is no forgiveness.  There are bright red flowers.  Even Jesus mentioned the red sky and how to interpret it.  Red sky in morning might bring bad weather, but a red sky at night…

Could it be blue?  Since we are on the idea of the sky, a bright clear day has a beautiful blue color.  God made the sky blue.

Could it be green?  The grass is green.  Most tree leaves are green.  When every plant is growing and healthy, the greens dominate the landscape.

Could it be gold?  The New Jerusalem will be paved with gold.

Does Jesus not have a favorite color?  He shows no favoritism among us.  Why show favoritism among colors?

Or could it be white?  When Jesus comes into our hearts, He cleanses us.  He washes away our sins and we are as white as snow.  I suppose that is the reason why white represents purity.  And white light is the presence of all color.  In a way, you could say that white represents pure light.

I said that there was no Scripture, and none was copied to start the post, but there may be some Scripture alluded to in most of the paragraphs, if you want to dig.

Soli Deo Gloria.  Only to God be the Glory.
