For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
- John 3:16-18
“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”
- Mark 9:23-25
Yesterday, I had a naughty Christmas story, perpetrated by consenting married adults. I also had a view of Christmas from a believers point of view, but then I discovered a couple of songs.
What if you are not a believer? Does Christmas Hope turn into Christmas Sorrow? Did you not get what you were looking for? You missed the love?
How about this song by Eclipse 6, Oh Come All You Unfaithful?
And maybe you were looking for a gift that you did not know was given to you, personally to you, about 2000 years ago. You might be searching for The One, Jesus. This is sung by Kofoed Family Music.
I think the music did enough talking. I pray you got the gift that can last forever.
Soli Deo Gloria. Only to God be the Glory.
