I would like to thank a tremendous number of people, including many of whom I am unaware.

I know that God spoke to me, driving me in the direction of this blog.  I knew I wanted to do something, and this was the direction to which I was guided.

Then I met so many other Christians who were already in the blogosphere.  I learned a new word, blogosphere.  The thought crossed my mind, ‘If there are so many Christian writers out there, why was I guided in this direction?’

The first sentence of Rick Warren’s quote above explains it all.  There are a lot of people, churched and unchurched, that read things on the internet.  Some have little patience to read past a few sentences.  Some love reading short stories or essay-length posts.  Some people like poetry, while others like prose.  Some like intellectual arguments while others like homespun anecdotes that are packed with practical wisdom.

With each permutation of factors – for example, a person that likes a medium-length anecdotal story, a story of farm life would be different than a story of city life or life in a mountain valley or life on the beach.

To all my fellow writers of Christian blogs, thank you.  We are all one family, united in Christ, even though we do not always agree.  And since we are trying to reach people with the Word of God, we each must do it in our way, for there may be that one person who has an ear to hear the Gospel in the way that we can explain it.
