I received great news from the Heart Cath Lab at the hospital. I do not have any significant blockage anywhere. One artery was blocked about 25-30%, not enough to use a stent.
When the doctor said that I had a “big heart,” I told her that she had to tell my wife and she did.
The great news is that with no repairs, I got to go home the same day. All the twilight sleep drugs finally hit me upon getting home, having been awake through the entire procedure, so I have been asleep for a while.
As for the bad news, as I have mentioned before, this leaves me with “the great unknown.” It’s now back to two different doctors for a suggestion on “Where to from here?” The shortness of breath is getting bad enough that people will suggest that I stop and catch my breath when talking on the phone – even though I was sitting down at the time.
My wife and I have rescheduled our Thanksgiving meal for Saturday. I cannot lift over one pound (0.45kg) for 48 hours after the procedure. The turkey is 18 pounds. We will have plenty to celebrate.
Thank you all who were praying for us.
Soli Deo Gloria. Only to God be the Glory.
Praise the Lord

Thank you. I still have to find some answers, but God works in mysterious ways.

Amen, just giving thanks today and tomorrow. I doubt if the doctor is in tomorrow anyway.

Yes He is. With Him in control, I don’t need to know what is going on, but I want to. A weakness, I know.
