C. S. Lewis says that nothing can deceive, but what about millions of years concerning the age of the earth and universe?  The “evidence” of that claim has been proven false, but those who live by it continue to shout their ideas.  They want to eliminate God and the Bible from consideration.

But what about evolution?  The only things ‘proven’ regarding evolution are discredited as being something within our genetic code all along, and only called ‘evolution.’  And evolution as the source of all life has been thoroughly discredited.  Yet, people keep shouting.  They want to eliminate God and the Bible from consideration.

But what about LGBTQ being something people are born with?  The “gay” gene has never been found.  It is one sin among many.  We all sin; we all must repent.  Yet, they keep shouting.  They want to eliminate God and the Bible from consideration.

But what about the right to choose abortion?  Abortion is killing innocent life.  Yet, they keep shouting.  They want to eliminate God and the Bible from consideration.

But what about the destruction of the nuclear family, a family with a father, a mother, and children?  The LGBTQ movement and abortion both work toward that destruction.  It corrupts the plan God established with Adam and Eve.  Yet, they keep shouting.  They want to eliminate God and the Bible from consideration.

But what about our efforts to prevent climate change?  Whether climate change or global warming is caused by carbon dioxide or not, what about mankind’s idea that they can conquer over any judgment God places upon the earth?  The world is working toward a global government, a global secular government.  It is the only way to enact control over the world’s pollution.  Yet, mankind is not all powerful and all knowing.  God is all powerful and all knowing.  We must pay the price for our sin.  Yet, they keep shouting.  They want to eliminate God and the Bible from consideration.

I could go on.  There is a note in the NIV regarding the use of the word “fool” in the Scripture above.  In the original text it refers to someone who is morally deficient.  Moral deficiency seems to be the norm these days, and to assuage any feelings of guilt, they have taken the C. S. Lewis quote above and stood it on its ear.  If they can change reality to something totally irrational, then they can truly be deceived by any number of cockamamie ideas.

Yet, they keep shouting.  They want to eliminate God and the Bible from consideration.

The only answer to what is corrupting our society and eating away all sense of Hope, Love, and Peace is repentance and turning to God.
