You must not sacrifice the Passover in any town the Lord your God gives you except in the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name. There you must sacrifice the Passover in the evening, when the sun goes down, on the anniversary of your departure from Egypt.
- Deuteronomy 16:5-6
During this month of February, my wife and I celebrate a special event. The first letter of each answer in this quiz will spell out my feelings on this celebration. That is, if you get the right answers. The answers spell out two words – thus the gap.

With the Bible References, I will also give the first letter of each answer, as if the photo above did not give it away. If the Bible Reference is either “n/a” – for not available instead of not applicable, or a note of chapter(s) and verse(s), the answer is the book of the Bible that would give the answer away. For a few of the Bible References, only one Bible reference is given when the questions mention a few things.

I suppose that you noticed that the answers spell out Happy Anniversary, but did you need that hint? It will be 46 years as of the day in February.
And as for the Scripture above, it is the only reference to “anniversary” in the NIV. Odd, we spend so much celebrating time on wedding anniversaries and birthdays, but God wants us to celebrate other events each year, mostly in glorifying God and thanking Him for all that we have. Maybe if we celebrated God, praising Him for our marriage each year – and doing that in a humble spirit – maybe we might save a few of the broken ones. When God is at the center, we can work out the rough spots when they occur,

With every marriage, there are rough patches. We have had ours and it seems Tim Hawkins had some himself, as he confesses on this video that ends with his impressions of famous singers singing the national anthem. And when it comes to the Star Spangled Banner, I agree with Tim Hawkins. Some artists put their own spin on it and it comes out good, but then others … it’s not so good. But these are funny.
And what I have to say to my loving wife is:
If you like these Saturday morning Bible quizzes, but you think you missed a few, you can use this LINK. I have set up a page off the home page for links to these Saturday morning posts. I will continue to modify the page as I add more.
Soli Deo Gloria. Only to God be the Glory.
