In the thirty-ninth year of his reign Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet. Though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the Lord, but only from the physicians.
- 2 Chronicles 16:12
Well, we are better than Asa, my wife went to a doctor appointment Tuesday afternoon. They took a swab and found blood in her GI tract. So, now we had a clue what the diarrhea was about. The shingles was still on-going, so they put her in a private room for isolation. Her breathing is better, but sometime this afternoon after this gets posted, she will have a colonoscopy. They cannot find where the source of the blood is.
Due to all the tests, she has had nothing to eat since Tuesday morning, three days ago, most of the time “nothing by mouth.” I joked with the nurse, and she agreed with me. Best way to stop the diarrhea is to starve the patient. Only problem is that she had two bouts of diarrhea, just to get rid of the blood.
Somehow having diverticulitis eight months ago and every symptom that it has returned, they think it is something else.
But, unlike King Asa, we are inquiring of the Great Physician. Thank you all who have been praying.
Soli Deo Gloria. Only to God be the Glory.
Dear, Lord, look over Mark and his wife as they face more health issues. Gvie them both the strength to endure, the knowledge that you are with them, and that all things work according to your will. May it be done. Amen!

Thanks. In colonoscopy waiting. Her latest blood work shows stability. So maybe the bleeding is over or a lot less. She is finally alert.

Yes, especially when the remake of the colonoscopy (finding nothing unusual) set everything else in motion.
