This quiz is about sisters, obviously.  Which women were identified in the Bible as the sister of someone else?  I will have a couple of bonus questions regarding sisters in the Bible that were never identified by name.

I have one sister.  She and I are all that is left of our generation.  Since she was eleven years older than I am, she and our brother were close and I was essentially a second family.

After my brother and then our parents died within a few months of each other, she thought that I would never drop by, since we were not close.  But on her 50^th wedding anniversary, my wife and I stopped by to wish them well.  We just happened to visit our son who was in southern Mississippi at the time for Thanksgiving.  And it was hardly anything out of the way to be there for her and her husband’s special day.  From that point on, we try to talk about once a month and spend time together whenever we visit our son who now lives a lot closer in Tennessee.

Our relationship needed mending, since I was the second family, so to speak, but we enjoy our time together.  I miss not being closer, so that I could visit more often.

My wife is the oldest of five sisters, with only one brother older.  Two of the sisters call her often.  The sister that is the oldest of the other four calls several times each week.  Maybe the bond is that they both had boys, while two sisters had two girls and a boy, and the other sister had two girls.  Then again, they are the oldest of the sisters.  They had been tasked with the most chores.  And they were the only girls who were not born in the USA, all three of the youngest born in Texas.

The other sister that calls is her baby sister, roughly ten years younger than my wife, and largely raised by my wife – one of her many chores.
