He throws me into the mud, and I am reduced to dust and ashes.

Tomorrow, as of the day this post is scheduled, my wife’s ashes will be interred at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
The phrase from the common book of prayer will be spoken, “from ashes to ashes, from dust to dust.” The phrase is not in the Bible, but it is based on the Scriptures above.
Since we were both veterans, her during the Vietnam War and me soon afterwards, we will eventually be reunited, side by side, but I will always have her in my heart. That part of grief is hard, I have this overwhelming feeling that she is still here, and in a way, she is.
Rest in Peace, my precious princess, I will be with you soon and you can show me around, or is that a job for Jesus?

May you rest in the knowledge of the peace and understanding of your loving God. Through Him and His mercy, we will be reunited some day in His realm. Until then, you have my deepest sympathy. I can’t begin to imagine what you’re going through.

Thank you. We tried to sing a song. I think I may make what I wrote for a eulogy to be a post soon. My sister-in-law read it. And many people with crying. But in it, she did not believe, she knew where she was going. And as long as God allows me to keep writing, I will write, but then, I get to go there too.

Visited my son for Thanksgiving, and he did unconventional traditional things. At that point, I missed my wife’s cooking. Until then, I was okay. I have too many doctor appointments to go anywhere at Christmas.
