From the tribes of Judah and Simeon they allotted the following towns by name
- Joshua 21:9

- Judges 10:1

- Psalm 149:3
But for the sake of my name, I brought them out of Egypt. I did it to keep my name from being profaned in the eyes of the nations among whom they lived and in whose sight I had revealed myself to the Israelites.
- Ezekiel 20:9
“These are the tribes, listed by name: At the northern frontier, Dan will have one portion; it will follow the Hethlon road to Lebo Hamath; Hazar Enan and the northern border of Damascus next to Hamath will be part of its border from the east side to the west side.
- Ezekiel 48:1

- Zechariah 6:12
If you noticed that the word “name” is in each of the verses above, this is not a quiz about the word “name”. This is a hidden word quiz.
Well, the first letter of each answer spells the solution to this mystery. There is only one word, repeated once. Thus, the word is a five-letter word, and it pertains to what this quiz is called. If you guess the word, and there are two chances of getting each letter, before answering all the questions, the letter will help answer the questions. All of the answers to the questions are people’s names.
By the nature of this quiz, the questions are not in biblical order. Of these ten people, four are female and six are male, in no particular order.
The Questions:
| Question | Bible References | Answers | ||
| 1 | A young man from Derbe, living in Lystra, whose father was Greek. He joined Paul on Paul’s second mission and Paul wrote two letters to him. | |||

| 3 | The wife of Judah’s first son, who after Judah’s first two sons died, tricked Judah into making her pregnant. | |||
| 4 | The brother of Martha and Mary who Jesus raised from the dead. | |||
| 5 | A prophet who was a Tishbite. He challenged the prophets of Baal (Ahab and Jezebel’s prophets) on Mt. Carmel and God defeated Baal prophets there. | |||
| 6 | A Greek Christian and companion of Paul, never mentioned in the book of Acts, was sent to Corinth to collect the offering for the poor in Jerusalem. Later, he was left on Crete to pastor the church there, guided by a letter from Paul. | |||
| 7 | A prophet, writing a long book of prophecy, prophesied before King Hezekiah to not be afraid of Sennacherib, king of Assyria. | |||
| 8 | This woman, also known as Dorcas, was known for doing good and helping the poor. When she died, the Apostle Peter went to her and she rose from the dead. | |||
| 9 | Considered by some to be the first European convert, this woman was from Thyatira in the province of Asia, but she lived in or near Philippi, selling purple, and hosting Paul and his team. | |||
| 10 | The first woman, who gave birth to Cain, Abel, and Seth |
Everyone needs a name. It would be good to make a name for oneself, but we should glorify Jesus. I think Billy Graham would not like to be remembered as a great man. I think he’d prefer to be remembered as a faithful follower of Jesus.
But still, we should still not wish to have our name connected with infamy. The popularity of the name “Adolf” skyrocketed in the early 1930s, especially in Germany, but the popularity of the name took a nosedive after World War II. The name “Jeffrey” reached a height in popularity in the 1940s through 1970s, but after Jeffrey Dahmer was convicted of killing 17 young men, there is little popularity for the name anymore.
I looked up Attila, and the name is still popular among eastern Europeans and western Asians.
But we can each make ourselves a shining light unto the world, in part by downplaying our name and accepting the light of Jesus Christ. We then reflect and emit the light of Jesus to the world, a name that stands above every name.

But the name of this quiz should be obvious. After all, MSWord has Styles, and the font selection that you use for the name of what you are writing has this “name” as the style for that line at the top of what you have written.
In WordPress, when you select the page where you can add a new post, WordPress beckons you to add a name for the post. It says “add _____.”
When we achieve a post in some organization or another organization, we might be given this type of name, like president, chairman, or moderator.

The mystery word is “Title.” I have been brain dead, or seemingly so, in coming up with ideas for quizzes here of late. After a lot of praying, and sometimes skipping the quiz writing for a day or two, the idea pops into my head. In this case, looking at a blank form to add another post, WordPress told me to “Add Title.” Okay, then, if I repeat the word, Title Title, I have ten letters in the ultimate answer. Funny how God speaks to us in a variety of methods.
Whether you did well on this quiz or, ummm, not so well, for the first video, here is CeCe Winans with Geron Davis and the Martins singing There’s Something about that Name.
Well, I found one song from the Gracias Choir with Hyemi Choi singing Take the Name of Jesus with You.
But now, here are two Matts, Matt Boswell and Matt Papa, singing The Matchless Name of Jesus. Thank you Keith and Kristyn Getty.
And here is Terry MacAlmon singing Jesus, Name above all Names.
These hymns and songs took me back. And at the name of Jesus every head will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. I wait with anticipation for that day.

I try to do my research. I kind of enjoy it, and my Sunday school class seems to like it too, not knowing what I will come up with.
