If you noticed that the word “name” is in each of the verses above, this is not a quiz about the word “name”.  This is a hidden word quiz.

Well, the first letter of each answer spells the solution to this mystery.  There is only one word, repeated once.  Thus, the word is a five-letter word, and it pertains to what this quiz is called.  If you guess the word, and there are two chances of getting each letter, before answering all the questions, the letter will help answer the questions.  All of the answers to the questions are people’s names.

By the nature of this quiz, the questions are not in biblical order.  Of these ten people, four are female and six are male, in no particular order.

Everyone needs a name.  It would be good to make a name for oneself, but we should glorify Jesus.  I think Billy Graham would not like to be remembered as a great man.  I think he’d prefer to be remembered as a faithful follower of Jesus.

But still, we should still not wish to have our name connected with infamy.  The popularity of the name “Adolf” skyrocketed in the early 1930s, especially in Germany, but the popularity of the name took a nosedive after World War II.  The name “Jeffrey” reached a height in popularity in the 1940s through 1970s, but after Jeffrey Dahmer was convicted of killing 17 young men, there is little popularity for the name anymore.

I looked up Attila, and the name is still popular among eastern Europeans and western Asians.

But we can each make ourselves a shining light unto the world, in part by downplaying our name and accepting the light of Jesus Christ.  We then reflect and emit the light of Jesus to the world, a name that stands above every name.

In WordPress, when you select the page where you can add a new post, WordPress beckons you to add a name for the post.  It says “add _____.”

When we achieve a post in some organization or another organization, we might be given this type of name, like president, chairman, or moderator.

The mystery word is “Title.”  I have been brain dead, or seemingly so, in coming up with ideas for quizzes here of late.  After a lot of praying, and sometimes skipping the quiz writing for a day or two, the idea pops into my head.  In this case, looking at a blank form to add another post, WordPress told me to “Add Title.”  Okay, then, if I repeat the word, Title Title, I have ten letters in the ultimate answer.  Funny how God speaks to us in a variety of methods.
