The fool says in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.
- Psalm 14:1
This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true.
Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.
- John 21:24-25
“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
- Albert Einstein, quoted in Heavenly Humor from Barbour Publishing
There are so many things in our world that are miraculous that Einstein may be right. Those that do not believe in God are unwittingly greater believers in miracles than are Christians. Everything has to be a miracle – just not directed as God doing it. The scientific data is piling up monstrously against Evolution being the source of all species, to the point of Evolutionists admitting that “nature” has established some design, so that God stays out of the picture.
But Christians believe that God still performs miracles, or at least once upon a time performed miracles (to appease the cessationists). But then God has created such complex science to make it normal to reproduce, have asteroids attracted to Jupiter that might have wiped out the earth, and prayers answered by something that was done a month before and just now becoming something needed…
There still are those kinds of miracles, but some are not classified as miracles anymore. As I mentioned one of those events a few years ago to the pastor, he said that what had happened was not a miracle but it was definitely a GMC. I asked what a truck manufacturer had to do with it, and the pastor grinned, “No, a God Made Coincidence (GMC).”
So, I would like to reclassify a lot of GMC events as being miracles.
God is at work. He keeps my body going. The sun keeps coming up in the morning. And life is filled with Hope because of God being at work and having a plan that will make things right in the end.
Soli Deo Gloria. Only to God be the Glory.
I have never heard of zgMc before

I mentioned to the pastor who used that phrase that I still use it, and he looked at me puzzled. He had forgot that he had said GMC – God Made Coincidence. We got a good laugh out of it. I have no idea whether he invented it or he read it, and then forgot his source.
