but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
- Exodus 20:6

- Deuteronomy 11:1
So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today—to love the Lord your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul—then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil. I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.
- Deuteronomy 11:13-15

- John 14:15

- John 14:23-24
Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.
- 1 Peter 1:22
But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him:
- 1 John 2:5
On the day I wrote this, I awoke after having a very disturbing dream. I was compelled to go to the computer and write it down. You may think it should stay locked away, but if God places a burden on your heart, you must obey.
If this dream offends you, examine your heart. If your denomination is not mentioned, do not think that you are okay. God did not have your denomination in the dream, but are you much different?
WARNING: This dream might offend many people. But maybe God is telling all of us to wake up.
The Dream
An announcement was broadcast that a Christian Rally was being held in the huge football stadium. Come early to get a seat. It would be standing room only.
An evangelistic-minded Presbyterian heard the announcement, and he called a Methodist friend of his. Neither of the men had anything to do that night, so they went to the rally.
The two evangelistic-minded men heard that the Pentecostals could not care less about the rally. Their services were like that all the time. The Catholics put out an announcement that anyone of the Catholic faith who went to the rally would be excommunicated. The two men thought those reactions were a bit of an overreaction.
The speaker preached the Word of God and thousands wanted to come forward, but there was such a crush of people coming down the aisles that they stopped them and said the salvation prayer over the speakers. They did not want anyone getting injured or killed. The speaker encouraged each new convert to find a church the believes in Jesus as the only true Way, Truth, and Life. Each new believer needed a supportive family.
The Presbyterian and the Methodist each talked to one new believer, and they took them to church the next Sunday.
In the Methodist church, the pastor was a trans male, meaning she was a woman who dressed in men’s clothing and identified as a male. The pastor was curious, especially seeing a strange face in the congregation. She asked if there were any new believers from the rally in the congregation.
The excited young man jumped to his feet.
The pastor asked what his thoughts were on marriage. The young man said that marriage, according to the Bible was between a man and a woman. The pastor pressed on about gender dysphoria and the young man said that God makes no mistakes and He does not change His mind.
The pastor became enraged and commanded that the elders stone this new believer to death.
As they did so, the Methodist man who had brought the young man to the church said to himself, “So, that’s why we don’t evangelize anymore. We are inclusive, but only inclusive to people who agree with the latest trend.”
Meanwhile, in the Presbyterian church across the street, the Presbyterian, who had invited the Methodist to accompany him to the rally, brought his new convert to the church. The pastor gave a good biblical sermon, but there was nothing that would have people jumping up and down in the sermon. That came from the Holy Spirit, who was overflowing from the new believer’s heart. He jumped up and started to dance.
An elder, of immense size and strength, picked up the new believer and threw him down in the aisle and sat on him. The elder muttered that we do not do that here.
The new believer knew that he was being persecuted for righteousness sake. He shouted, “Praise God! Hallelujah!”
Another elder came up and jammed a dirty sock into the young man’s mouth. “Shut up! The preacher is talking.”
The young man went limp. He had passed out. The elders went back to their pews, and the young man awakened and slowly crawled out of the church, never to be seen again.
The Presbyterian who had brought him to church saw what happened and his heart broke. No, he did not feel bad about what happened. That would be true, but his heart stopped. He died, right there in his pew.
When the service was over, a few people noticed that he was not moving. They laughed. He had achieved the ultimate in being a member of the frozen chosen. Otherwise, no one recognized that he had died. Two days later, the pastor sent the custodian on a search to determine the source of a horrible smell, and the custodian, not even a member of the church, was the only one to notice that the man had died. Only the members of the man’s Sunday school class showed up to the funeral, except a few extras who were there to serve the meal afterwards.
This concludes the dream. I wrote this immediately after waking up so that my imagination could not add or remove anything from the dream. I did not want to misrepresent this dream in any way.
What was this dream and what is your choice?
Was this a dream of what we might find today in our churches? Is this a prophecy of something coming soon? Is this a prophecy of things to come in the distant future? Or as Ebenezer Scrooge asked, can we change this dream? Can we repent and turn from this destructive course?
On the other hand, if an elder from the church I attend reads this, will I be allowed into the church again?
But what of our choice? Are you offended? A true Christian should be offended with what is going on with the major denominations these days. I only mentioned the ones in the dream, so that really does not leave the others off the hook. But if you are offended by the dream itself, take a step backward and look at the church where you attend. The Scriptures give promises for those who love the Lord and obey His commandments. Too often these days, we stop at the “love the Lord” part. We do not read the other conditions. But do we love the Lord or do we love the idea of Jesus doing things for us?
As the title says, the choice is yours.
Soli Deo Gloria. Only to God be the Glory.
The dream is telling us what is happening now, or rather what has been the status quo for years. Many of these mainline churches have become religious entities, cemeteries where souls come to die. They don’t preach the gospel, have no power of God neither do they evangelize. MANY in those pees are going to hell because of this. If this truth offends one, they are doomed to condemnation

Yes, I agree, but I teach a Sunday school class for a group that truly believes. Otherwise, I would have left years ago.
