I was at my computer yesterday, as I am most days.

I noticed a congratulatory message from WordPress that I get every time I publish something, but it dawned on me that the number of consecutive days of blogging was 3005 days.

Wow!  The day came and went, and I never noticed.

Then I looked at the number of posts, not counting the pages, that I have published.  I had published 5002 blog posts.

Again, the milestone went right past me without me noticing.

If I had noticed the 5000^th post, that would have been on the 3004^th consecutive day.

I was blogging before 3005 days ago.  I missed a day due to a kidney stone.  I could not manage the pain.  They put me in the hospital for about 30 hours before they did the surgery.  But that was when I was writing in the morning to post in the afternoon.  I try to stay ahead these days.  I never know when that might happen again.

But these are just numbers.  If God gives me the strength, I will continue and these numbers will be far in the rearview mirror.

These accomplishments show what God can do.  And God has let me post over 7.5 million words since I missed a post in 2018.  Just more numbers to build on.
